Organizations
An organization is one brand or account you report on. Everything in Level — ad accounts, segments, metrics, reports — is scoped to an organization.
An organization is the top-level container for the work you do in Level. One organization = one brand, one account, one entity you report on. Agencies usually run several organizations; in-house teams typically have one.
Every other object in the app — ad accounts, segments, custom metrics, reports — lives under exactly one organization. Switch the organization and you switch the whole context.
What you'll see

The organizations page (/organizations) lists every organization you have access to. For each one:
- Avatar — round image or coloured initials.
- Name and an optional description below it.
- Row actions (the kebab menu at the end of the row) — Edit and Delete. Delete only appears for the organization's owner.
Above the table you have:
- Search — type a name; the list filters as you type.
- Add Organization — opens the organization modal in create mode.
On mobile the same list renders as cards instead of table rows; the controls are the same.
How many you can have
The number of organizations you can create depends on your plan:
| Plan | Organizations |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Pro | 1 |
| Business | 5 |
| Enterprise | 5 |
When you hit the limit, Level tells you: "Your plan allows up to N organization(s). Upgrade to add more." See Plans & limits for what each plan includes.
Creating, editing, switching
- Creating an organization — name, description, and an optional logo with built-in cropping.
- Managing organizations — editing details, switching between organizations, and deleting an organization.
Deleting an organization
Only the organization's owner can delete it. Choose Delete from the row actions menu; the Delete Organization confirmation spells out exactly what will happen — permanently:
- delete all of its ad accounts,
- erase all metrics collected for them,
- delete all segments and reports,
- stop syncing this organization.
This cannot be undone. If you only need to pause work on an organization, stop its ad accounts' sync instead.
Permissions
Visibility and edit rights are governed by your role. All members see the organizations they have access to in the list and switcher; Edit requires the Manage Organization Settings permission, and Delete is reserved for the owner.
What's stored on an organization
The organization itself is small — name, description, optional logo. Almost everything that feels like organization data — ad accounts, segments, metrics, reports — actually hangs off the organization as separate objects:
| Object | Where to manage it |
|---|---|
| Ad accounts (the platform accounts wired to this organization) | Ad accounts |
| Campaigns (read-only, synced from each ad account) | Campaigns |
| Segments (campaign labels — colour + icon + name) | Segments |
| Metrics (system + custom metrics for this organization) | Metrics |
| Reports (saved views) | Reports |
| SEO/SMM (organic content analytics from Wire) | SEO/SMM |
When you switch the active organization in the top bar, every one of these sections re-loads with that organization's data.
